We’re happy to fin­ish and finally present the study of a new local com­mu­nity cen­ter called Plecharna — see the project review here. Last week we par­tic­i­pated at the pub­lic intro­duc­tion of the Plecharna project to the local inhab­i­tants of the hous­ing estate Cerny Most, the dis­cus­sion was lively, the photo report from the event is to be found here.

We’ve recently fin­ished a study for an attic apart­ment that reminded us that Prague really is a city of hun­dred tow­ers. In fact, one of them is part of the flat and we had a lovely task to design a stair­case to its top. Besides that, the project includes the adap­ta­tion of the upper floor into an indi­vid­ual unit for younger gen­er­a­tion and a par­tial recon­struc­tion of the lower floor inte­rior. The new design takes inspi­ra­tion from the loca­tion, while it enhances the inte­rior with a more met­ro­pol­i­tan and con­tem­po­rary character.

Last week, two inde­pen­dent (and our favourite) mag­a­zines just released their new issues. By chance you can find our con­tri­bu­tion in both of them: Vítek tested a poster graphic-generator in the 8^th (con­grats!) issue of Kom­fort­mag while the Pedal Project mag­a­zine fea­tures our project Koláč — a cake-like con­tainer for bike park­ing — that was spe­cially designed for the third issue. You can review this project in our archive, but you should rather go and get your­self a copy of each mag as their con­tent is surely worth it!
